Music

All classes will be conducted to Christian music. However, we will also be using Classical for our Ballet classes, as well as some age-appropriate children’s music for our younger students.

Payments

• There is a $25 non-refundable registration fee per family.
• Tuition will automatically be processed on the days listed below via JackRabbit. (No checks or cash will be accepted).
• A late fee of $30 will be added if payment method is declined unless other arrangements are made.
• You can update your form of payment at any time in your parent portal.
• No refunds can be given in the case of natural disasters or vacations.

Tuition Costs

• Summer Classes
  • Tuition is due the 13^th of each month.
  • First Class Tuition: $55
  • Each additional class after the first is only $25, including sibling classes.
• Summer Camps
  • Tuition is due the first day of Camp.
  • Cost: $95
• Summer Intensives
  • Tuition is due the first day of Intensive.
  • Cost: $150

2022 Summer Holidays

We will not hold classes July 4th.

Traffic Information

To help make sure our traffic flows as smoothly as possible:

• Please drop-off 5 minutes early, and pick-up 5 minutes late.
• Please follow arrows around the building to drop-off under the covered area
• The covered area is a 10-second drop-off/pick-up area
• No parking in fire lanes.

Class Time

• Please do not drop your child off at the studio more than 5 minutes prior to her/his class.
• All classes are “closed curtain” (meaning teachers, helpers, and students only in the classroom). Each classroom is equipped with video and audio surveillance for everyone’s safety.
• Always send your dancer into the building fully dressed for class, wearing a cover-up and street shoes, with dance shoes in a bag, along with a bottle of water labeled with your child’s name.  Before entering the dance room, dancers will change into dance shoes.
• Please have your child change back into street shoes before leaving the building. Dance shoes are for the studio room only. They are never to be worn outside.

Dress Code

• Required class attire can be purchased here:  www.shopnimbly.com/sofdance. Select “Lumberton” as the category.
• Camps, Intensives, and Workshops are the only exception. For these classes, your child can wear dancewear or anything the child can comfortably move in.

Insurance

It is required that all dance students be covered by their own family insurance policies. If an injury occurs, it is understood that the student’s own policy is the only source of reimbursement.

Keeping Parents Informed

Communication will be electronic, including newsletters. Please make sure we have a current e-mail address! All information will be e-mailed and posted on our website. Steps of Faith also has a facebook page! We also strongly encourage parents to sign up to receive our text messages. On your cell phone – in the “To:” field, type 81010. In the message area, type @sofda.

SOF reserves the right to make any changes to all aspects of our business at any time. SOF reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment at any time. This is especially possible when a parent does not help us uphold Christian standards of behavior and character.
